About The Train Company

The Train Company is the official Deltrain distributor in North America and the preferred distributor worldwide, supporting tourist train projects for parks, resorts, cities, and attractions.

Official Deltrain Distributor

The Train Company serves as the official Deltrain distributor in North America and the preferred Deltrain distributor worldwide. We support professional tourist train projects from initial planning to operational deployment.

Our role extends beyond supplying trains. We guide operators through configuration planning, wagon selection, regulatory considerations, and project implementation to ensure reliable passenger transport systems.

Working closely with the Deltrain engineering and manufacturing teams in Portugal, we help clients deploy train systems adapted to their operational environment, passenger capacity requirements, and long-term mobility goals.

Global Presence, Local Expertise

The Train Company supports tourist train projects across North America and international markets through a coordinated global structure.

Our North American operations are led from Miami, Florida, where The Train Company USA Inc. serves as the official Deltrain distributor and local project partner. From this office, we support clients with regulatory guidance, project planning, and operational planning specific to the United States market

International projects are coordinated through our European office in Almere, the Netherlands. This location supports clients across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and other global markets, ensuring consistent project coordination and communication with Deltrain’s engineering and manufacturing teams in Portugal.

Through this dual structure, we provide both global expertise and local support, helping operators implement reliable tourist train systems adapted to their specific environment and operational needs.

Typical Project Environments

Deltrain tourist trains operate in a wide range of professional visitor environments where structured passenger transport is required. The Train Company supports projects at destinations that require reliable guest mobility and organized circulation routes.

Common environments include:

  • Theme Parks
  • Zoos and Wildlife Parks
  • Resorts and Large Hotels
  • City Sightseeing Routes
  • Cruise Terminals
  • Shopping Centers
  • Tourist Attractions
  • Large Campgrounds and Holiday Parks

Each train configuration is adapted to passenger capacity, route layout, and the operational requirements of the location.

How We Support Projects

Project Planning

Every tourist train project begins with understanding the operational environment, passenger demand, and route conditions. We work with clients to evaluate their location, expected passenger capacity, and mobility objectives.

Based on this assessment, we help determine the most suitable locomotive platform and wagon configuration for reliable passenger transport.

Configuration and Customization

Deltrain locomotives and passenger wagons can be configured to match different operational requirements. We assist clients in selecting locomotive platforms, wagon capacity, accessibility options, and visual customization.

This ensures the train system fits the operational environment while aligning with the visual identity of the destination.

Project Coordination

After defining the appropriate train configuration, we coordinate the project together with the Deltrain manufacturing team. This ensures the selected locomotive platform and wagon configuration align with the operational requirements of the location.

Our team supports configuration decisions, production planning, and delivery coordination in collaboration with the Deltrain factory in Portugal.

Long-Term Partnership

Our involvement continues after delivery as operators develop their visitor transport systems over time. We support clients with configuration adjustments and future expansion planning.

This long-term approach helps ensure reliable passenger transport operations and adaptability as visitor demand evolves.

Leadership & Commitment

At The Train Company, reliable visitor transport begins with strong partnerships and clear technical guidance. As the official Deltrain distributor in North America and preferred distributor worldwide, we support operators in planning and configuring dependable tourist train systems.

Working from our offices in Miami and Almere, we assist clients across international markets with project consultation, configuration guidance, and coordination with the Deltrain factory in Portugal.

Our objective is simple: deliver reliable Deltrain tourist train solutions supported by expertise, transparency, and long-term partnership.
