Operators now have the option to select the engine platform that fits their operation, without changing anything about the way the train looks or runs. The TK50, built on a Kubota engine platform, and the TJD50, built on a John Deere engine platform, share the same body, cabin, and standard equipment. What operators are actually choosing is the engine underneath, not a different train.
Which platform makes more sense for a property that already services equipment through an existing Kubota or John Deere dealer network? For operators without a strong preference either way, the decision often comes down to what is already familiar on site rather than a difference in the ride itself.
Configurations That Match the Route, Not the Other Way Around
The train configures from two to four coaches, carrying between 30 and 60 passengers, with an accessible wheelchair position available as an option.

Financing is available for qualified US operators, with plans starting from $2,050 per month, structured for parks, resorts, and commercial properties adding or replacing guest transportation.
Accessibility and Comfort Built Into Every Configuration
Plan capacity with accessibility included: An accessible wheelchair position is available as an option on any coach in the configuration. Adding it reduces that coach by two bench positions, so total capacity can be planned accurately from the start rather than treated as an afterthought.
Every locomotive includes a built-in audio system as standard equipment, giving operators a way to communicate route information or safety instructions to passengers without adding separate equipment. Additional in-coach audio is available for properties that want sound throughout the full train, not only from the locomotive.
