Gopo builds two trains around those answers. One is a four-wheel-drive diesel train for fixed routes with up to 60 passengers. The other is a compact gasoline train that travels to each event in its own trailer.

The TDK50 runs on a Kubota platform, the TDJ50 on John Deere, and the TJ25 on a standard John Deere X570. Routine maintenance is straightforward, and parts are widely available.
The TDK50 / TDJ50 runs two to four coaches, with options for a wheelchair position, lighting, audio, and hydraulic coach brakes. The TJ25 runs two or three coaches.
Financing is available for qualified U.S. operators. Monthly figures depend on configuration and approval.
Luc Goemaere founded Gopo in Poperinge, Belgium, in 1986, after years in agricultural machinery manufacturing. The name joins Goemaere and Poperinge.
Gopo introduced its first battery-powered electric tram in 1989. Luc still leads the company, which now builds its trains in Naples, Florida. According to the manufacturer, Gopo trains have carried guests in more than 50 countries.

The TDK50 / TDJ50 suits fixed routes with 30 to 60 passengers. It runs up to three coaches on grass and handles a 12% grade with hydraulic coach brakes. The TJ25 suits level event grounds, with up to 36 passengers and a 7% maximum grade.
The TJ25 is not built for public roads; its trailer is road legal, but the train is not. For the TDK50 / TDJ50, public road sections depend on local approval and the DOT-approved Lighting Package on each coach. We review every route before we recommend a train.
